Comments
It was noted, in comments and in the FDRG discussion, that there has been some confusion with submitted CORs for C-ID COMM 180. Numerous CORs for courses that are a survey of communication studies (commonly referred to as a “hybrid” course including public speaking, interpersonal and small groups) have been submitted and not approved because they described courses that did not align with the COMM 180 descriptor. The FDRG agreed to write a draft descriptor for a survey/hybrid course and submit the draft to the C-ID process for discussion, vetting and approval.
